About this artwork
From the outrun level below the hills, the tall concrete inrun towers of Salpausselkä rise on the left of the frame, the plastic-covered landing slopes sweeping down past the judges' tower at the center. To the right, the stadium bowl with its blue running track sits in the natural amphitheater, ringed by pine forest turning to early-autumn color. Under a flat overcast sky with damp ground underfoot, this cool 13.9°C September view captures Lahti's famous ski-jumping venue in its quiet off-season.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
