About this artwork
From the base of Simpsiö hill in Lapua at half past midnight on a cloudy late-September night, the ski slopes rise ahead, fully lit by floodlights with a chairlift climbing the center line. To the left, the groomed runs sweep up toward the misted treeline; to the right, the dark forest ridge of the Simpsiö hill closes the frame. At the base, the ski center's lodge glows warm with signage for the restaurant, tickets, lifts, and equipment rental — the resort at rest between seasons.
Every Jason D’s Vision image is an AI-generated artistic interpretation of a real place — original artwork, not a photograph. The label bar on the download may show a creative daylight scenario; that is artistic staging, not a record of a real event.
